Product: Reversible House Side Shield for 375W and Larger Fixtures - Bronze

The RAB Lighting A17-RHS-L is a reversible house-side shield engineered for area light fixtures rated 375W and larger. This accessory mounts directly to compatible RAB fixtures to reduce backlight and control light spillage beyond property lines, building perimeters, and residential boundaries—critical for meeting local lighting ordinances and minimizing trespass into adjacent properties.

The reversible design allows installation in either orientation, providing flexibility for fixture positioning and site layout adjustments. Constructed with a bronze finish that integrates seamlessly with standard RAB area light housings, the shield adds no electrical load to the fixture and requires no wiring modifications. Installation is straightforward and does not affect the fixture's rated wattage, lumen output, or performance characteristics.

This shield is particularly valuable in mixed-use commercial and industrial environments where precise light control is essential—parking areas adjacent to residences, warehouse perimeters bordering populated zones, outdoor loading areas near property lines, and municipal lighting installations subject to light ordinance compliance. By containing backlight without reducing forward illumination, it allows facility managers to maintain full task lighting while addressing light pollution concerns.

Confirm your fixture's series designation and mounting hardware compatibility with RAB documentation before ordering. The A17-RHS-L is not a retrofit solution for all area light models; verification ensures proper fit and performance.
